This Thursday May 22, will be the next meeting of our San Diego Herp Society and I am very pleased to get the chance to present "Green Tree Pythons"
as the monthly speaker. I'm hoping that any/all local chondro lovers will come to the meeting and enjoy the show and tell and keep me on my toes!!
Public speaking on reptiles is new to me and there's sure to be a fun blooper or two!!
As far as I know there are no other members in our society working with chondros, yet we have zoologist, curator members and people tops in the industry with
their species and I'm more than slightly intimidated!! I plan on letting the snakes speak for themselves and I'll hopefully fill in a blank or two.
Any suggestions to "must include" in the presentation? I'll be taking a few snakes w/me......

That's great Cathy! I really wish I could attend, but there is no way I can take any more days off work. I know public speaking can be nerve wracking, but
you'll be fine. Like Brandon said, your passion will show. Best of luck and have fun!

Thanks so much guys!!! I think the enthusiasm is how I got asked in the first place!!
I actually like the idea of video taping.... don't know anyone with a camera ...... yet, but still have a couple days to track one down, I'll get to work on that today. tsk tsk Aaron..... don't spoil the surprise!!! That was going to be my secret tip for everyone there.... only downside is that I've never popped a snake for sexing in my life, do you think it's too late to learn? |

OMG, Kathy. You did such a great job. You even had the complete attention of my three kids. My wife looks at the Tree pythons every time we are at a shop that
has them. She has decided she wants one which prety much meens I want one. One is never one though. I had been out of snakes for a few years and we got two at
easter. We now have several racks full. So now it looks like we will be getting some Green Tree pythons. I searched your name in google and found you here. Do

is THE place to be for chondro info on the net with lots of great, experienced keepers in addition to any new folks that want to pick up more info. GTPS
aren't for everyone, but for those that really want them.... oh yeah, it doesn't get much better than this!!!
