I don't really know anything other than surfing the net for a decade or so and have made assumptions. Yours looks like a mainland type from anywhere North to Central.

I had some that looked quite a bit like yours years ago which were represented as Karubaga. That's a bit away from Wamena. At the time they were using Karubaga, Kelia, Bokondini and Lereh to split up the same locals in my opinion while assorted adult looks from red and yellow hatchlings were divided and sorted. Today a few other names have been added to the list for suspiciously alike looking snakes. Jayupura seems to always stick for one of the names while others come and go.

Here's a look of some alleged highland mainland animals from a wild caught female for the type, starting quite dark or yellow. The highland animals have been said to have stubby heads, but now we see others being represented from high elevations with larger heads. Who knows?
