all this discussion over melamine and burnt pvc outgassing now has me concerned if I should now change my perches to some kind of maple branches, or go with
plain pvc perches, anyone want to chime in that has any kind of experience, good or bad.

Mike- sorry to scare you! But, maybe its a good thing.
Again, I don't think anyone here (or elsewhere) can knowingly claim or associate ill effects to a perch. We don't even know what symptoms to look for. Maybe you could refine the question to: Has anyone experienced an unexpected 'respiratory infection' when using burned perches? |
