I woke up this morning and couldnt fine my GTP. I start to worry and look around my cage. I see there is no possible escape. My glass doors were close and
the vents are in place. This leads me to believe that he is inside my waterfall. I can see inside it to confirm so I need to get him out. Is there a way to
irritate a gtp so they will come out? I want to find him just to make sure he didnt escape.

I had a really cool setup once for my rainbow boa with a waterfall and all the sorts, the stupid snake kept getting up inside it like you said so I just had to
yank it out. There are a few different waterfall designs out there that might be safer than the one you have so you can shop around for something safer or just
put water bowl in. Perhaps the snake might be lured out with a live mouse late at night? Best of luck.

One other thing, in case you haven't already, unplug the waterfall. If it is inside, who knows what access it may have with the electrical parts. I kind
of think the screwdriver needs to come out now since you can't confirm its location. Hate to see you wait another day only to find it was never inside and
got out of the cage somehow.

to be honest, i wouldnt keep a waterfall in an enclosure with a chondro. while it may be aesthetically pleasing, things like this happen. i would just watch
the enclosure, and wait till lights are out. i would think she would come out on her own. and if that doesnt happen, then get out the screwdriver or mallet!
keep us posted.

Under the circumstances, I would carefully dismantle the waterfall, remove the animal, and remove the waterfall from the enclosure. You could try to do it
now, or wait to see if it comes out on its own late tonight. Whether it comes out on its own or needs to be taken out, I would still remove the waterfall.
Seems to be more of a liability. What type of waterfall is it and how old is the animal? Can you post pics of both?

Good luck,
