I figure that if I use a larger shed, and put it in the shade, I could pull this off. It's good to hear that you were able to do it in a much smaller shed than I would be using.

They were living in the reptile house I had built behind my home. They had about 50 room mates that also died when the thermostat on my heater failed and fried my whole collection overnight. The saddest thing was finding so many of them coiled in their water bowls, desperately trying to stay cool. If I ever get the courage to try housing animals in there again, I'll run at least two thermostats. Wanted to get some feedback on an idea that I am kicking around. I currently keep over 50 snakes, mostly adult and sub adult Carpets and GTP's

I am thinking about buying a large outdoor "shed" building at least 16 x 30 feet, and using it as a snake building. I can insulate, and dry wall the inside, install shop lights, and electrical outlets, and a utility sink.
