Sorry for your loss. But, to make you feel better. How hot did it get? My chondros were exposed to over 100 F for a 12-15 hour period with no affect. It probably wasn't you fault. Something that was wrong first. There was nothing you could do.

I just lost my entire collection in a some what the same over heating accident over the Xmas holiday. i too was the cause. i know the pain your feeling can be unreal. try to learn from it and dont beat yourself up too much. it only makes it worse. i truly feel for you and i am sorry you had to go through that. i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.

Well... I've just had my first "big" chondro death. And it was caused by my own stupidity...

We'd been having a bit of a cold snap up here in the PNW, still getting down to the 30s at night, and i'd been leaving my space heater on in the herp room at night to keep the temps up.
