This guy had his first strike, wrap, and swallow tonight. Just 16 days before his first birthday. I guess I was assisting feeding him longer than I thought. It's a satisfying feeling.

Went through that myself for a couple of months. I think it was more stressful for me than the snake.

After assisting feeding this animal for around 8 months, it has stopped running during feeding attempts and I have been able to avoid the assist feeding on the last 2 meals. I am hoping the many hours I spent working with this animal will eventually lead to a happy ending...
