The supposed "superiority" of red neos continues to be eroded. The red neo "urban legend" led directly to me holding back more red neo Jaya types than yellows, but it turns out the yellows are, so far, clearly superior in color and pattern. Go yellow!

those are all really nice animals. dont think ive ever noticed that yellows could produce mite phased animals! guess u learn something new every day!

Mark... the parents are unrelated animals that I bought from Rob Worrell in 2004. The dam is from Alexis x Trooper and the male is from some top secret breeding loan.

My apologies for the crumby photos. Here is a kid that went straight to black at 10 weeks old then filled in some dark green around it. The weird thing is that parents don't have a black scale between the two of them. The majority of the clutch has followed suit. I can't wait to see what they look like when their done changing.

While I will admit I am not a huge yellow neonate fan, critter's like this one are slowly changing my mind.
