Having had a large group and producing my own as well, I do think it looks like a pure Diamond. However, some of the high percent crosses look similar to
pures. First question: How is the reputation of the seller? Do you trust what they are telling you? Can they back up with supporting doc's, photos etc.
of the adults?

Diamonds vary alot as babies and adults. Buyer beware. Should be at least $750 to 1200 for babies. There are not many being produced.

Good Luck,...

From what I see, I would guess that the animal is about a 75% diamond x carpet cross. This is based on the longer, white "laterals". From what
I've seen in pure diamonds which was about 7 or 8 years ago now, even at this age they have fewer side markings and small flowerettes (sp?) along the
dorsal line. Again, this is all guesswork.

I'm no expert on diamond's (chondros either for that matter!) but that doesn't look like a pure diamond python to me. All the picture I've ever
seen of diamonds show quite a lot of individual scale couloration whereas that picture seems to show most of the scale as a uniform colour. My guess would be
that that was a carpet python cross...but like I say, I'm no expert.

This is what I'm used to seeing;
