I have an easy workaround that worked perfect for me and takes just 1 click. I just downloaded IE 8 and had the same problem.

When you open any Yuku site, click the little icon just to the right of the address bar at the top - it is the "compatibility view" icon if you hold your mouse over it. It looks like a torn piece of paper. After that, works fine for all pics and web links like it used to with older versions of IE.

You have to do this each time you open IE,...

Java's up to date, as well as everything else.. Its not crashing, per say. But I'll hit a page (doesn't matter which, seems like its been anything from iherp to facebook to google..) and my internet stops functioning- I have to go unplug the router, plug in, then try again..

You guys can also look at your crash logs, to see what the problem really is, instead of pointing the finger at IE8 (yes, i work at microsoft... yes im a bit defensive... no i dont work for IE.... yes i use a mac.. yes i know im a huge hypocrite)

The majority of browser crashes are java related... Try updating your java client.

Doesn't work on any other yuku forum either...

I'm getting pretty sick of IE8.. my internets been crashing at least 10x a day since I downloaded it..

dont bother with the button just use the tags *img* http://www.yourhost.com/yourphoto.extention */img* but change the *'s to [

Larry My Work PC is running IE 8 and I have the same issue you are having at home i am still running IE 7 with no issues posting pics.

I think it might be a certain browser thing too. I have IE7 and just tried the image funciton. It seems to work. The picture is a tiger rattlesnake(I think?) that got run over.

what i do is, i copy the image and paste it here, that's the only way that works for me.

I had the same problem here the other day after IE 8 downloaded. I just didn't worry with it and used FireFox without any problems.

Am I the only one have problems with the insert image? I touch the Icon and nothing happens? I'm doing the old work around, but does anyone know how to get the Yuku inset image back on track?

Any help!
