			<description><![CDATA[ Burms are threatening the ecosystem in the Everglade and the whole herp community. I count Bob Clark as a friend, but sorry, I&#39;d like to see these animals
tightly regulated. No more selling these things to kids,and idiots who keep 12 footers in aquariums and then are AMAZED that the thing pushed a whole BRICK up
that was sitting on the top and escaped. And the no- kid suggestion is a good idea as well.

ANYTHING, the ignorance of a few large constrictor keepers is going to screw the rest of us. Everytime something like this happens, the WHOLE herp
community&#39;s head goes on the chopping block....not just the big 5 owners. They might be going under the bus...but they are dragging us with them by our

by the general populace. Unfortunately the persons writing and passing legislation do not understand many things-but they do understand green. Little green
behind any such legislation prohibiting exotics. The amount of persons killed by horses is a good comparison in our favor.

In my opinion keeping one of the big five should require someone to jump through as many hoops as someone who wants to own a big cat or bear.

			<description><![CDATA[ Years ago I got out of Burms and got into chondros in part, just for this reason. I could no longer justify selling snakes to kids that could reach 10 feet in
a year.

Put in perspective, more people die from dogs or horses in a single year than have ever died from pythons in the US. But hold on to your hats, we will be lucky

This is horrible.People take far too many risks while having large boids as pets.I had a 7 foot rtb when my children were young.I received it from a friend of
a friend type of thing and I got rid of it because I just could not relax with a large boid around my children.I had the animal for less then a week.I kept it
in the basement of the 3 story house I lived in at the time in a key-locked cage with 7 SHUT doors seperating the animal from my childrens... ]]></description>
