I just acquired a 13-year old male. He is a Blue line many of you have heard of. Goes by Lil' Reggie. He was in kinda rough shape when I got him... Had a stuck shed and was pretty skinny. I got all the stuck shed off and fed him two adult mice and he was looking really good. Then a few days later her regurgitated both the mice and has stayed on the floor of his cage ever since. When I first got him he was pretty active and aggressive. Especially when I sprayed him and his cage. Now he doesn't move much at all. I'm worried that he is stressed so I've left him alone. I don't know if I should give him time to acclimate or take him to the local exotic vet. I have never had a GTP this old before. I could really use some advice from the pros. I would love to see this guy breed again. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Mikee

Hello to all of the Chondro Heads and Green Tree Python Admirers out there,
It is with my
deepest regret and sorrow that I must announce the passing of one of the greatest
chondros to ever grace the earth. Ella Diablo passed away on May
5th, 2012, from cancer. A small unusual growth was observed to be manifesting
itself along her spine and she was immediately taken to the vet for further analysis. It was upon her arrival, that the growth was confirmed to be a
tumor through tests and x-rays. After several cultures, a surgery was scheduled to remove the
tumor in hopes that it hadn’t spread and would be easily removed. During
her surgery, it was noted that there were actually four tumors
growing inside her cavity the size of golf balls and they had spread tremendously. The surgery was completed but
only successfully removed 95% of the tumors. Following the operation, she passed overnight. Her cancer was ruled to be a type that is frequent in cats...

Hey to all of the Chondro-Heads out there,

Unfortunately, this is an update I don't like to announce, but the eggs from Covergirl x Marduk, didn't make it this year. Out of the 12 eggs that were laid, 4 died during the incubation and went bad. Of the 8 that were left, there were a couple of full term neos that died in the egg and a few were underdeveloped. I assume they died sometime during the incubation. It is a very sad loss and unexpected loss at that. However, hopefully other pairings will take and great outcomes will arise. I hope all is well with everyone and quality is contagious!
