Chondros are for me the most exceptional snakes in the captive market. During the previous seven years I've been a pretty active member on the forum which,
in part, speaks to my interest and passion for these animals. Over the course of the past several months there's been a bit of digression from chondro
speak on the forum, and I've found myself losing interest in following many of the posts. I typically gaze over the title and sometimes respond to some of
the lighter topics,...

Hey Guys, I recently had a female have a pretty big Uric Acid buildup and I had to bring her to the Vet. It was a noticeable buldge in her but it wasn't
huge. It's been a few months and she is doing fine eating and pooping like she should. A sibling of hers my male from that clutch just had what I felt
(think) to be a minor uric acid buildup. He ended up pooping it out a few days later, but it had me kind of worried since they are from the same clutch. They
both have been eating mice...

So I've been wanting to setup a naturalistic large cage for my adult male. I've got a 50-60 gallon glass aquarium that is pretty large. I'm
guessing around 4 feet long by 20-24 inches tall and about a foot wide. I am pretty sure this would work except for the width. So my question is, should I buy
a single piece of glass for the bottom that would make the tank around 2 feet wide? I would have to buy a custom frame for it but I am pretty sure it would be
