Stats
23 eggs laid, March 18
3 eggs go bad and are removed, leaving 20 that go full term
Day 50: May 7 (Monday) - nothing happens, pretty much expected this
Day 52: 3 pip, one emerges
Day 53: 1 more pips, 2 more emerge (the first to pip has not emerged yet)
Day 54: (today) 1 more pips, no more emerge

I was under the impression that when the first one pips, the rest should follow within about 48 hrs. Last year when I hatched my first clutch,...

Male or Female Guessing?

Any way to get a good guess as to whether a juvi might be male or female? Any typical behavior patterns that suggest one or the other?

Handling grounded GTP

My biak chondro just recently grounded. I read that sometimes it's normal for some GTPs to be grounded for a while, rite? I don't see any abnormalities like bubbles coming out from nostrils and so on.
But is it ok to handle chondro when he's grounded? Is he gonna be more feisty when he's grounded?
Is it ok to feed a grounded GTP?
For how long did you guyz' GTPs have ever grounded?

Wow!!! is all I can say. Just for kicks I visited some other chondro forums today, none that you usually see associated with the people here. And what a mess. I don't know if I've ever seen "bad" info on here. Truly, I can usually find something helpful or at least insightful all the time. I actually got exhausted wanting to type responses on these other places.

Hey everyone! We have some babies coming!! We have crossed our OS Aru male, Dro, with our Aru female Splatter. We will be selling the babies for $1000.00 each. As a baby the male was maroon, rare as an Aru, but non the less, we have pictuers of him. The female is a LTC and was aquired from Cleve Miller. We are fairly new Chondro breeders and have been on MVF many times. We have 6 eggs incubating...
