i was just wondering the percentage of breeding to the exoterra 18 x 18 x 24 inch cages? for anyone that keeps there snakes in these cages and has breed and/or tried to breed their snakes please let me know.

This is my first of probbly many chondros. I got this lil guy/girl from Troy Frantz. Troy was great to work with and very caring. Called several times to make sure it was ok because it was very hot. Well anyways this is a Jayapura and has a really nice full stripe. I am housing him in a Sterlite tub and hes doing great. I will try to feed on Tuesday and we will see how that goes.

Bedding the cause of RI?

Has anyone ever had a problem with different types of bedding being the cause of a RI? My new Merauke has developed a slight crackling and I feel it might be due to the cocosoft he is on. Ever since I added bedding to his tub(he was on newspaper), he's been burrowing under it just like my Rainbow boas. Won't perch anymore, stays grounded, only wants to lay on the bedding! My female laid eggs on Tuesday May 6th. I decided to go with maternal incubation again. This is her second clutch, the first being infertile a couple of years ago. 4 days ago I decided to take the nest box out to look at how she and them were doing and smelt something funky. I took this picture under a small fluorescent light and with my flash set at "white fluorescent light". It was taken with a Rebel Xti and Speedlite 550EX.

Has anyone ever used this setting? This was the first time I used this set up and I was very impressed with the result. The animal is picking up some blue but I didn't expect this.
